"For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love." 2 Peter 1:5-7

Journey into Chaplaincy

Throughout my life, I have enjoyed volunteer work, gaining diverse experiences, and meeting incredible people. I have served in a variety of ways, including one-to-one tutoring and mentoring at-risk children, coaching and mentoring the poverty-stricken with job application and interviewing skills, and youth group ministry.

My journey into chaplaincy began as a life skills coach and mentor to men in addiction recovery programs. Seeing them learn to make good decisions and start to flourish as they turned their lives around ignited my passion to make a broader impact. I accepted a volunteer chaplain position at a major airport to help passengers, military personnel, airport and airline employees, support the goals of the USO, and serve as part of the Fallen Soldier program.
Responding to calls from first responders to help individuals and families in crisis, I became more aware of the needs of the grieving, those facing death, addiction, homelessness, and trauma. As a result, I dived deeper into ministry and continued gaining broader exposure to amazing people and could apply my skills to help those in need throughout my journey,
To better support the community, I pursued more education and hands-on experience. I studied death, dying, and grief and volunteered with hospice while investing the necessary time to learn and train to become a credentialed law enforcement chaplain. In 2020, I became a full-time volunteer police chaplain.
My diverse ministry experience includes various organizations, and I earned a Master's in Religion from Southern Evangelical Seminary. I am an ordained and appointed minister actively participating in the Chaplains Collective, and I have earned senior credentials with the International Conference of Police Chaplains (ICPC).

I'm dedicated to serving police officers who face daily challenges, prioritizing their well-being. I walk alongside them, providing support without judgment. I regularly ride with officers to build strong relationships and offer a ministry of presence during emergencies 24/7.

Working with law enforcement is an honor, allowing me to make a difference in responding to crime victims and those touched by tragedy. I attend Hope Church in Mason, OH, where I'm active in men's ministry and help facilitate grief support. Law Enforcement Chaplaincy is my chosen field of ministry.
